Program in General Insurance

This three-course program is designed for people in all insurance and insurance-related occupations who require an understanding of insurance principles and policies. It is intended for insurance personnel who have some knowledge of insurance practices but who have not had formal study of the insurance principles that underline those practices.

The program deals with principles of insurance, the provisions of some of the most widely used personal and commercial property and liability contracts as life and health policies, and the relationship between insurance theory and practice. Students who pass the three national exams earn the Certificate in General Insurance.
