Associate in Research and Planning (ARP)
The four-course ARP program provides an educational foundation for insurance
company personnel working n research, planning and related decision support
functions. It integrates research and planning techniques developed in
other industries with the unique features of the insurance business. ARP
is recommended for insurance personnel in corporate planning research
product development, forecasting, issues management, or similar functions.
Completers earn the ARP designation.
The Insurance Institute of America and the Life Office Management Association
jointly sponsor an alternative program designed for people in the life
