DESIGNATIONS
This section lists the insurance professional designations available, profiles them, and shows how and where you can fulfill the requirements to obtain the designation itself.

Accredited Adviser in Insurance (AAI)

This three-course program is appropriate for new and experienced insurance producers, agency principles, and experienced service representatives. It has relevance for all insurance production personnel in any distribution system. The AAI program is designed to acquaint the student with the coverages that generate the majority of most agencies’ premium volume. It addresses technical knowledge of insurance products (coverage provisions), market knowledge of those who buy (client needs), and how to manage the producers’ office operations to facilitate sales and improve agency profitability.

AAI candidates who have successfully completed the IIA Program in General Insurance (see previous description); the Certified Insurance Counselor (CIC) program of the Society of CIC; or CPCU 2, 3, and 4 need to pass only the AAI 82 exams to earn the AAI designation.
