This section lists the insurance professional designations available, profiles them, and shows how and where you can fulfill the requirements to obtain the designation itself.

Introduction to Claims

This entry-level course has seven assignments. It is designed for a wide range of technical, clerical, or supervisory employees with little or no experience or training in insurance claims handling. Each person who completes Introduction to Claims should be able to (1) recognize and appropriately use many terms pertaining to insurance claims handling, (2) demonstrate a basic understanding of how claims are handled, and (3) understand how the role of the insurance adjusting relates to the insurance business as a whole. The national exam is available on request (not a fixed date). Successful completers receive a Certificate of Completion.
