DESIGNATIONS
This section lists the insurance professional designations available, profiles them, and shows how and where you can fulfill the requirements to obtain the designation itself.

Associate in Insurance Services (AIS)

Earning the AIS designation involves passing the three exams in the IIA Program in General Insurance and the AIS 25-Delivering Insurance Services exam. (People who have passed the CPCU 1, 2, 3, and $ exams need to pass only the AIS 25 exam to earn the AIS designation.) AIS 25-Delivering Insurance Services is a 13-assignment course in total quality management for insurance personnel. It is intended to give students an opportunity to become familiar with the terms, tools, and ideas of quality management and how to apply them to the insurance business, their own organizations, and their own jobs. It should also help students to recognize the importance of interpersonal skills in applying quality management principles.

The AIS national exam is available on request (not a fixed date). People who pass only the AIS 25 exam receive a Certificate of Completion. Completers who qualify for the AIS designation receive a diploma.
